Insulate Your Home, Lower Your Energy Bills & Save up to $500 in Taxes

Foam Kit Solutions products qualify for a 10% tax credit when used as insulation for home improvement, up to $500 as authorized in Section 25C of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010.

The tax credit applies only to materials, not installation, and the improvement must be done on the main envelope (the area along the perimeter of the living space) of your already existing home. This includes attics, exterior walls, basements,  crawlspaces, and foundations.

How does it work?

1. Upgrade the insulation in your home between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
2. Download the Manufacturer’s Certification Statement keep it with your Foam Kit Solutions reciept for your taxes.
3. File IRS form 5695 with your 2011 taxes (due April 15. 2012).
